Leading DTF's involvement in negotiations with one service provider for joint development. Overseeing the budget for the initiative.

Managed a team to achieve strategic and policy outcomes for the Department of Treasury and Finance on a range of issues including including health reform, financial wellbeing, rideshare, skills, transport, occupational health and safety and insurance functions.Initiated and developed relationships to support research and strategic priorities with academic partners and government agencies.

Oversaw transport projects, supporting a team of 4 people to develop policy advice and policy positions for government. Provided strategic and expert advice on discount rates, public transport fares, rideshare, infrastructure proposals. Developed a research strategy for Social Policy. Built team capability in quantitative and research work by investing in training for HILDA and Stata and supporting the team on research projects. Organised ABS training for the team to access microdata and unit records. Initiated a working group of research managers across Economic Division. I facilitated research sharing sessions and econometrics capability building workshops to build capability and confidence, and improve collaboration. These efforts have improved skills, and sharing of knowledge and data.Chapter co-author for 2017-18 Budget. Synthesised macroeconomic descriptions and fiscal priorities into clear communication reflecting a range of stakeholder interests and views. Provided timely and proactive responses, clear communication, resolution of issues with stakeholders across the Department.

Provided advice on the intervention logic, impacts and risks of legislative change and developed advice to support better approaches to regulation in Victoria. Worked on complex policy proposals, including related to renewable energy and family violence. Developed ongoing and constructive relationships to improve earlier engagement and positive cultural change. Developed Toolkits on consultation and evaluation for publication to support policy-makers to undertake better practice processes.

Economic Policy Group - Quality advice and analysis for the Treasurer, Senior DTF management and Victorian Government relating to market design, regulatory burden, pricing, contracts, urban water, waste, environment, forestry, parks and resources. Collaboration with Melbourne University and Centre for Market Design, developing innovative tools to introduce market mechanisms and improve welfare across various sectors - key projects have included a decentralised contract allocation mechanism for school transport for students with disabilities, and competitive mechanisms to procure medical experts to medical panels.

Conducted interviews and undertook research and analysis relating to the Fitted for Work. Conducted research and evaluation of the 'Transition to Work' program operated by Fitted for Work managers and board, which contained an evaluation of the current program, identified potential risks, and made recommendations for risk mitigation and program improvement.Undertook research, analysis and advice for the National Disability Services Board on measuring impacts of not for profits in service delivery, describing social capital 'broader' impacts associated with how services are provided.

Conducted public inquiries, providing leadership on analysis of land-use planning, local laws, implementation and evaluation of regulation, skills and education.
