As a representative for the Young Chartered Accountants of Queensland (and myself, for Deloitte in Queensland), the YCA Panel drives engagement between the YCA member segment (35 years old and younger or within their first five years of membership) and the CA ANZ body. We are instrumental in being the voice for this member segment and connecting them to all that CA ANZ has to offer its members by direct communications (such as personal welcome calls and messages to congratulate new members), hosting networking events, connecting our members with like-minded professionals and their respective associations, career mentoring of YCAs, and working with the organisation on how to connect with those who are not yet members but are on their post-graduate study journey, as well as representing CA ANZ at university open days.
