In this project, my role as a data scientist and researcher was pivotal. In Stage 1, I performed feature engineering using Apache Hive on a Microsoft Azure remote cluster and conducted data preprocessing and intermediate table creation on a local Postgres MIMIC-III database. I used complex SQL queries and HQL scripts to extract relevant features from the vast MIMIC-III dataset. In Stage 2, I built machine learning models for mortality prediction and death time estimation using Python 3.6. My custom machine learning pipelines, feature selection, and data transformation techniques were crucial in developing robust classifiers. Throughout the project, I contributed to exploratory data analysis, model evaluation, and comparison using various metrics and visualization techniques. I shared my findings through notebooks, research papers, and presentation slides, contributing to the project's success and knowledge dissemination to the broader research community.

During the internship at V-Connect Systems & Services Pvt. Ltd on the project "Automation of Bulk Messaging Gateway," I played a key role in automating processes, enhancing the user interface, and enabling timely communication with recipients through hourly mail updates. My proficiency in Python programming and MySQL database management were instrumental in achieving project goals, while my collaborative approach contributed to a positive working environment and the successful development of the Bulk Messaging Gateway.
