Surfe is a connected revenue workspace, helping revenue teams to capture and serve clients more effectively. In just under 2 years, Leadjet (now Surfe) reached €1M ARR & raised a €4M Seed Round. We are a team of 25, representing 15 different countries.Frontend Software Engineer:- Build new user-facing features- Work closely with Product and Design team to implement, ship and iterate on new features- Conduct testing of the product in preparation for upcoming releases- Participate in drafting Surfe's roadmap

I contributed to a large-scale product with a micro frontend architecture. My team focused on three key parts, ensuring seamless integration. We benefited from well-crafted, detailed user stories provided by product managers. Our structured development process included three-month plans and periodic sprints, with a strong emphasis on unit testing for quality assurance.

I managed one project as main developer from start to finish and maintained two others, each customised for small clients. I meticulously translated intricate designs into pixel-perfect web applications, utilising dedicated Storybooks for consistency and efficient development.

As my first experience, I embraced the at the time recent React Hooks, implemented tests, and learned from collaborative code reviews and pair programming. Despite challenges like vague user stories and lack of designs, I adapted, turning abstract requirements into functional interfaces. This experience taught me the importance of flexibility in a dynamic development environment.

Working directly with many different clients, I learned communication and customer care skills. Also, since the job was physically tough, we would help each other a lot and would try our best to keep a fun environment over the chaos and stress.
