SpeedyTurtle is a project that came to fruition as a result of numerous groups asking me to speak to them over the years. Through luck, a great family, perseverance, and dogged determination, the tapestry of my life has been woven with more than my share of unique experiences. Whether it was dropping out of college to tune pianos in Iceland, moving from rural Arkansas to New York City on a Greyhound, running my first marathon at age 40, jumping out of airplanes, or doing my first Ironman triathlon in my 50s, things just tend to happen when I’m around. But I’ve learned through much trial and error that the results are vastly superior with at least a little planning and steady movement towards the desired outcome. I try to think big without becoming overwhelmed by the end goal. Every journey really does begin with a single step. The proverbial turtle keeps methodically moving forward, and this is the approach that ultimately has worked best for me.I look forward to speaking to your organization where we can learn together about the amazing things that have happened and can continue to happen throughout our lives.

Fit products together to best custom needs of consumers. Presented on multiple topics including iOS devices and braille, creating texts in alternate formats, mainstream and blindness GPS, mathematics and refreshable braille, and more. Trained deaf blind clients on the use of iOS devices and refreshable braille displays.
