As a pre-medical student majoring in Microbiology and minoring in French at BYU, I am passionate about the intersection of science, healthcare, and global perspectives. With a strong foundation in microbial research, lab techniques, and scientific inquiry, I aim to leverage these skills in the medical field to improve patient care and health outcomes. My academic journey has been shaped not only by my dedication to the biological sciences but also by a broader global outlook, developed through my French studies and experiences abroad.Having grown up in diverse environments and adapted to new challenges, including living in West Africa as a volunteer missionary, I have gained a deeper appreciation for cultural sensitivity, resilience, and teamwork. I aspire to bring this mindset to my future career in medicine, where I hope to contribute to advancing healthcare on a global scale.
