Responsible for the direction and operation of Greysam's robotic & automation division. Greysam creates custom, purpose built robotic cells for numerous industries. Oversee cell design and robotic programming, all CAD layout and design of robotic cells for clients. Responsible for automation technicians & oversee general operation of the department. Make decisions regarding technology & systems implementation, as well as day to day operations of technicians. Run projects & oversee all system programming.Duties include:-Full system design & spec-Full proposal write-up for clients-CAD layout & simulations (KUKA Sim.Pro, ABB RobotStudio, Denso WinCAPs, RoboDK)-Creating drawings/wiring diagrams for proposed cell (AutoCAD, Autodesk Fusion 360)-Building BOM for purchasing-Asset tracking of all components as they arrive-Project planning for all stages of a cell (MS Project, MS Vizio)-Development of HMIs (Crimson 3 & 3.1, C-More Studio, AB PanelView)-PLC integration/programming (AD ClickPLC, AD DirectLogic PLC, AD BRX PLC, RedLion Crimson control modules & integration with existing PLCs (AB & Phoenix Contact))-Fieldbus integration with robots (BECKHOFF, WAGO, AD Protos X)-Robot programming (KUKA, ABB, EPSON, DENSO, UR & familiarity with Nachi, FANUC, & Yaskawa)-Safety integration (Banner, SICK, Fortress Interlocks, Husky Rack & Wire, WAGO, etc.)-Misc. communications (i.e. serial over RS-232, Java for KUKA integration with RoboDK, socket commands to control a UR10)

Responsible for Greysam's robotic cell design and programming. Handle all CAD layout and design of robotic cells for clients. Responsible for all programming of KUKA robotic arms and palletizers that Greysam installs following the approval of the cell designs. Responsible for integration of all external devices (safety, external lighting, PLC, HMI controller interfaces) to KUKA robot and integration to complete cell.
