Joined the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Unit as logistics lead. Trained for Fatality Management, Pandemic Swine and Flu outbreaks, coordinated with CERT and Medical Reserve Corps. Completed ICS 100, 200, 300, 400. 700, 800 and other specific courses. Held countywide training on operationalizing volunteers.

Joined the Health Equity team and worked on implementing Health In All Policies along with Complete Streets. It was ratified by the City and County in 2016. Developed a Health Impact Assessment with community partners centered on an under-resourced are in Tucson Az. Continued to do special project for the Health Director. At this time I was asked to be project manager for co-locating 2 health clinics into one new space; included building plans and migrating workflows.

Assisted with data analysis and project development for the Health Department Director. Was assigned special projects to analyze and create feasible solutions for. Detailed to create and answer questions coming from the board of supervisors and county administrator. During this time I applied for and received a $500k grant from the Office of Population Affairs Title IX for Affordable Care Act enrollments. supervised 4 staff doing enrollments at the health clinics and the Pima County Jail.

Analyzed health insurance eligibility for individuals booked into the local jail. using the data, a program was developed to get people back on insurance to help reduce recidivism. this was implemented into the booking process and is still active today
