As a financial compliance consultant I draft, implement, monitor, and maintain up-to-date compliance reviews and documents for clients, including advisory fee reviews, AML reviews, ADV drafts, FINRA advisor registrations, advertising reviews, client statement reviews, and advisor trade blotter reviews. I maintain a database of the organization's compliance activities through ShareFile, Salesforce, and Red Oak Software. I work dually within the Software Implementations Department, inputting legal compliance disclosures into Red Oak’s software for multiple clients, creating workflows for clients, and helped to guide clients through the software. My goal is to make the client's compliance process simple and easy to navigate whether that is through implementing Red Oak's software, or through a routine compliance consulting review.

Shadowed Senior Compliance Consultants to gain a deeper understanding of FINRA and SEC compliance rules and regulations. Performed various compliance reviews under the guidance of Senior Consultants. Assisted with implementing Red Oak Software for various clients through shadowing and hands-on work, allowing me to learn how to navigate compliance software and work independently within the software.

Evan Moilan Consulting assisted organizations with their strategic planning, board development, fundraising, governance, marketing, and branding. I led initiatives to build Moilan’s public image and maintain personal client relationships by designing and implementing a monthly newsletter and creating a social media presence for Moilan. In this role I gained experience working with CRMs and Microsoft applications and built communication and management skills. My projects were unsupervised until finished, which allowed me to develop greater confidence in my abilities and taught me to self-delegate efficiently.

Holiday internship with a Hybrid Financial Advisory Firm that caters to high net worth pilots and their families. I performed daily administrative and operational tasks for the firm including, answering phones, scheduling meetings and updating compliance documents. I appreciated this opportunity to gain insight into the finance world and the regulations surrounding the operations of a business that is tightly regulated by the government.
