As founder and CEO my roles included product management, operations, finance, strategy, hiring, employee management, and much more. I led product management for our web app, mobile app, embedded systems and hardware; product discovery; and design efforts and built our development organization through an acquihire and the hiring of local and overseas developers. KiLife was a part of 500 Startups Batch 19 and Hax Boost Retail 201 cohort. We raised nearly $1M in funding through a combination of venture investment, grants, and services investment. KiLife won first prize in the 2015 Rice Business Plan Competition and the 2017 Utah Tech Council Innovation Award for electronic devices.
