My role at Think Learning is aimed towards helping existing clients with any requests that they may log on the help desk regarding their current Totara based, Think LMS. This can vary from (but not limited to): bug fixes (investigating and resolving why functionality isn’t working as intended), help requests (supporting clients with miscellaneous questions around functionality, user experience etc) as well as escalating and liaising with Thinks’ Tech Team whenever necessary.

Within this role, I was focused on supporting one individual, who was unable to enter college, during the current climate. This support focused predominantly on the use of MS Teams, Moodle etc. to further their education and support them along their learning journey. This role was a great way to put the skills I learnt within my previous roles into practice (remote learning in particular).

Within this role, I carried over all of my continuing responsibilities from my apprenticeship role (administration of HRC's Virtual Learning Environment, promotion of new e-Learning tools and resources, administration of HRC's Digital Signage system etc.).Furthermore, I also worked with select individuals to heighten their use of e-Learning tools and technology and, where possible, selected and implemented areas for improvement. I also helped out within the Library on numerous occasions: using Eclipse (the college's Library Management System) to issue books to students; taking booking to use computers; basic customer support and service etc.I have also been told how adaptive, patient and accommodating I am when helping those with additional needs and those that may struggle using tech on a day-to-day basis.
