I currently coordinate with federal and state agencies to acquire real property as habitat for wildlife, and issue easements and land use permits on state land to various applicants. Components of those duties include: federal grant and grant amendment writing; bond performance monitoring; assignment of easements; coordinating due diligence procedures such as surveys, appraisals, and biological assessments; GIS shapefile creation; title research; species research; habitat research; public notice writing and comment receipt; and knowledge of local and federal laws affecting acquisitions and easements. I have worked closely with the Utah Attorney General's office to inform policy makers, and determine whether the agency could pursue a course of action. I have gained a thorough and working knowledge of the Resources Conservation and Recovery Act, and learned about landfill construction and post closure care.

At Nebraska Methodist, I re-drafted lease agreements for affiliated and non-affiliated entities leasing space from the corporation. I drafted proposed amendments to 501(c)(3) bylaws. I created all the paperwork to create an LLC. I put together a HIPAA compliance policy and aided in the presentation of the policy for consideration by management. I attended various depositions and compliance meetings related to the work of the hospital. I researched Nebraska state law in response to physician and other staff inquiries, and provided brief answers.

At NorthStar Financial Services, I drafted a manual for conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with SEC regulations. I was an instrumental part of creating a disclosure letter required by the DOL pursuant to ERISA of 1974 regulations for more than 2,200 401(k) plan sponsors and millions of plan participants. I researched various state securities laws to answer questions from broker dealers and representatives of plans. I drafted some talking points for customer service representatives to use in responding to broker dealer inquiries. I corresponded with traders and software specialists to maximize the efficiency of some internal audit processes.

Analyzed billing and technical support issues for customers, and trained small and large groups of co-workers in new products and services.
