Began working as a Receptionist, learning basic real estate and title fundamentals. Learned how to open up and receipt contracts, schedule closings, and interact with buyers, sellers, agents, and loan officers and other lenders. Ensured people coming into their closing appointments were taken care of, accommodating them to the best of my ability.As I progressed and learned more about the various documents that go into title work, my overseers believed I could take on more responsibility. I was promoted to be an Escrow Assistant, where I could help out Escrow Officers with the various tasks they needed done. Commissions Disbursements, ordering Home Warranties, Lender Title Requests, and creating paperwork for closing (LITTLES). I communicated with lenders on a daily basis, ensuring both parties (title and lending) had everything they needed for smooth closing procedures. Learning what all goes into a real estate transaction was a really informative experience. Title is the 'behind-the-scenes' of that transaction. As a part of my position as an intern, I was considered a "floater," meaning that I would travel to whatever office needed my help. I learned how different offices and people worked, and got to interact with a multitude of people.

Had to be very vocal in this position, navigating customers and guiding other team members to provide the best consumer experience possible. Worked on the food line preparing orders for customers. Had to work in a hot, fast-paced environment; always multi-tasking and held responsible for outcomes of orders. I had memorized all food recipes, and knew how to operate all the different machines in the restaurant to ensure customer satisfaction.I would measure out various weights for meats and cheeses, wrapping them up to make them available to whoever was going to take the next shift. I cleaned the front and back of the store at the end of my shifts- sweeping, mopping, and spraying down all surfaces to ensure the next shift was clean and ready to operate.
