A non-profit corporation, operates five residential treatment facilities, a special education school, a vocational training school and a transitional program for boys and young men ages 8 to 22.•Child Care Worker: worked in the group homes providing structure, security, nurturing, and counseling to boys with developmental disabilities and behavior problems. I developed healthy relationships to help clients heal from past trauma and provide a foundation for them to learn and develop.•Teacher’s Aide: at the school I provided a solid consistent, and predictable structured setting supported by a positive behavior intervention program. I supported students’ transition into a less restrictive placement and a greater overall independent level of functioning.•Office Assistant: supporting in the administrative offices, I typed documents such as correspondence, draft, memos, and emails. I maintained filing and organizational practices including medication processing, scanning, and inventories. Greeted visitors, answered phones, and promoted a positive and friendly environment.
