Communication. The key to building relationships and the pivotal stone before all else in this interconnected world that we live in. As chair of the social committee, I truly learned that you cannot please everyone, though keeping an open mind to new ideas and listening to what others say and make the intention to take their ideas into consideration is what really counts. I have implemented these communication skills to my daily tasks to help grow as an individual and team member.It is that skill that I tried to hone in on, when meeting new team members, training others on tasks and setting myself up in new opportunities to take the lead role in numerous responsibilities. Putting myself in weaker positions to turn them into strengths. I work co-operatively with my teammates to ensure that our data entry is precise and timely, while giving feedback where required to help build up everyone to become a well-oiled team machine. That all starts with communication.
