 Researched the use of an Evonik-sourced catalyst and an incorrectly stored, high-cost, key raw material in the production of a pharmaceutical API implemented to target a specific type of lung cancer. Completed projects yielded $1.3M savings upfront and an additional $900K savings per year in upcoming years. Exposed to work life in a GMP facility and tasked with presenting to the upper management of a large corporation. Identified inconsistencies between production and lab methods used to produce a consistently challenging compound; revised the lab method to provide a better reflection of standard production procedures.
