I have a diverse and unique education background, combining aeronautics, aviation, aerospace science, and information technology. I completed a certification program from the Environmental Operators Certification Program (EOCP) in 2019, after attending the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) for one year in 2015. I am currently a Water Distribution Operator at the City of Vancouver, where I have been working since 2017.As a Water Distribution Operator, I am responsible for maintaining the city's water infrastructure, including water-main installation and repairs, fire hydrant and valve maintenance, water meter testing, and residential copper repairs and renewals. I am fluent in Mueller fire hydrant and valve infrastructure, and I have worked with ductile, cast iron, and copper pipe ranging from 1/2" to 12". I have also responded to water related emergencies, such as broken water-mains and valves, and collaborated with other operators, contractors, and engineers to ensure the safety and quality of the water supply. I am passionate about engineering and infrastructure, and I enjoy applying my skills and knowledge to improve the city's water system. I am also interested in learning new technologies and methods that can enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the water distribution process. I believe that I can bring a valuable and diverse perspective and experience to any team that works on engineering and infrastructure projects.
