As summer staff the cabin counseling position rotated with either Buildings and Grounds or First Aid. Cabin Counseling included work such as facilitating small group discussions and caring for 7 to 10 campers’ physical welfare while living at camp for a week. Buildings and Grounds included work such as moving and setting up equipment and sound systems for camp activates, and working with a team to prepare and support camp activates such as games and mail distribution. First Aid included work such as accompanying camp groups on hikes, working with volunteer nurses to distribute medications and preforming general duties. I was employed here during June and July of 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017.
