Current- Managed the Improvement, Maintenance, and support for an MSDE's Schools & Community Nutrition Programs Branch system (MARS) disburses approximately $170 million yearly for the distribution of food to children and adults in Maryland- Established and rolled out better development practices and transformed the team from Waterfall to Agile seamlessly improving productivity, product quality, and timeline estimates, leading to improve customer satisfaction index from low to very high- Designed dashboards, reports, charts, and graphs for senior management and product owners to provide ongoing at-a-glance summaries of product status and performance- Coordinated and mentored the team throughout the software development lifecycle and drove the team forward- Implemented and Managed CI/CD and code review using Azure DevOps, resulting in safely deploying a new version of the software and removing manual errors, providing standardized feedback loops to developers, and enabling fast product iterations- Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.- Created and managed sprint release plans and schedules with input from all teams, coordinated system testing, user acceptance testing, and production release, provided communications on the status of releases and what is included with the release- Managed and configured cloud environments to support and run the testing and development environments- Supported the hiring and recruiting initiatives for the team- Performed regular individual one-on-one meetings with team members
