I get the wonderful task of maintaining the classroom (wiping down computers and making sure everything stays tidy). I also take attendance, enforce classroom rules, and assist the instructor in whatever he/she wishes.But mostly, I help the students with questions. DAVE School is a rather intense training program that throws you in the deep end every week, sink or swim. I help explain complex concepts one-on-one to help each student excel to the best of their ability, and that is what gets me out of bed in the morning.

The basics of the job was answering phones, selling products, maintaining products, renting out band and orchestra instruments to parents at the start of the school year, going through options for purchase of said instruments should the student continue to enjoy themselves, or trade out instruments if they'd like to give something else a try, cleaning returned rentals, ingesting repairs, being a liaison between customers and repair technicians, counting money at the end of the day, matching the till with the end-of-day sales, and doing all that with a smile on your face.The intricacies of being Assistant Manager meant I handled customer relations, and maintained the workplace schedule for 8 employees. I was in charge of ordering, as well as opening and closing the store. I initiated entire music library for the company, and set the library up the Troy location as well as serving as a consultant to the other stores whenever they encountered issues with their own library, ordering, or computer systems.Other things of note was that I was a trainer, and created a training document/resource guide for any and all employees.
