I worked in a research lab performing bio-analytical characterization assays to support development and scale-up of pre-clinical biologic drug compounds.Mainly, the tests that I was responsible for were High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) assays including reversed phase, size exclusion, cation exchange and protein-A. Additionally, I developed a PicoGreen assay for DNA quantification; set up a series of forced-degradation experiments to characterize degradation by-products; trained other analysts in the lab on HPLC and lab procedures; and maintained a lab of 17 HPLC systems.
