Working with PwC as a process consultant, my main aim was to improve the delivery mechanism of services offered by various Government Departments by leveraging technology, program management and change management. In my stint of 3 and half years at PwC I worked on the following assignments1) Envisioned and Implemented a novel GIS based solution to identify locations in need of schools by training a team of 8 regional deputy directors, 35 district education officers and 35 programmers in change-management. List of 1400 villages with inadequate schooling facilities was submitted to the cabinet of ministers for action. Client: School Education and Sports Department - Government of Maharashtra2) Performed a system requirement study of procure-to-pay cycle of food grains at government ration outlets thus improving transparency of the entire supply-chain process through tackling issues such as storage loss, in-transit pilferage, illegal ration cards in the existing system. Client: Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department - Government of Tamil Nadu3) Created a detailed project report to deliver 42 citizens centric services spanning across 17 state departments through state service delivery gateway – state portal (SSDG-SP) and submitted to GoI, thus enabling the department obtain $2.2m. Directorate of Information Technology, Govt. of Puducherry

I worked at Hind terminals site, Uran, Navi Mumbai as a field engineer. The work dealt with installation of stone columns into the ground to improve the load bearing capacity & reduce the settlements. The suggestions given by me were useful in minimizing the stone wastage, a major escalator of the project cost. The DPR along with the site drawings were not updated regularly, I suggested a simple way to keep the site drawings updated, thus maintaining transparency and improving efficiency.
