Adobe Flex EOL Project: Its one of the critical projects for the company as Adobe and browsers has decided to end the support for Flash. Its timebound project to replace all 256+ Adobe Flash pages with ReactJS based UI screens by 2019, so that there will be time available for all the customers to upgrade to this release in 2020. This impacted multiple modules across product areas. I acted as an Architect and Technical Lead on this project. I was part of planning, estimating, recruiting of Full Time and Contract employees, execution, delivery of whole project. As its timebound, I came up with a generic design based on patterns on both frontend and backend to speed up the creation of REST APIs and page development. These are driven based on metadata, which helped to complete the development on time. Also worked with other teams [Testing, Doc, Project Management, Product Management, Professional Services and SaaS teams] to coordinate the consumption of this release. Chargebacks Project: A strategic project to create a Best of Both products. To redesign an existing Chargebacks module with latest UI technology React and Redux with salesforce lightning design system to improve the user experience and minimize the number of clicks with added functional capabilities like (i) collaborations aspects so that communications between chargeback analysts and wholesaler is automated through the application, (ii) auto correction and reject of imported transactional data based on pre-defined rules, (iii) improved validations to better scrub the imported data to avoid potential revenue leakages. To also improve the performance of the UI rendering and backend processing of data.We also de-coupled our backend services and exposed them as REST end points so that UI can call them seamlessly. Did many changes to the product to make it cloud ready by introducing the automated DB upgrades from any release to latest release with flyway, security scans and fixes, upgrading Java from 1.7 to 1.8. Also enabled API based automation to increate the code and functional coverage.
