I have 25 years of experience, including 18 years in Investment Banking (Equities) in the Telecom, Media, and Automotive sectors. I aim to blend the strategic perspective of a bird's-eye view gained from my background in banking with tactical awareness and a solid understanding of business operations. In my current role as Director of Commercial Operations, my goal is to manage market share and profitability for M1’s consumer business in a highly competitive, low-growth environment. I work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive targetted initiatives and deliver sustainable performance. I achieve these outcomes via the execution of KPI frameworks, pricing strategies, commercial evaluation of sales and marketing offers, cost management and a focus on productivity. In my previous role at M1 as the Director of Business Development, I drove the initiatives to expand M1’s footprint beyond Singapore which culminated in an acquisition in Malaysia. My experience in Banking as an Equity analyst across multiple countries and sectors gives me a unique financial and market-oriented perspective. This background has enabled me to assess competitive landscapes and market trends effectively, and optimize commercial strategies with broader business goals.
