I started teaching in 1998 and have taught Spanish I-AP. I have been at my current school since it opened in 2002 and have assumed new roles over the years. I have worked and continue to work in various capacities with the athletic department - selling tickets, managing money for varsity football games, and keeping the books for volleyball and basketball. I have been the World Language department chair since 2005; coordinated and monitored after school detention and been a member of the 21st Century skills team since 2015; served on three textbook adoption committees, one of which I was the chairperson; written Spanish curriculum for all five levels; served as the school representative on the Employee Advisory Committee; coordinated and facilitated peer observations and discussions; and coordinated field trips.I am currently pursuing my goal of becoming an administrator at a secondary school.
