My role involved conducting and being actively involved in Security Risk Management with all stakeholders, ensuring that all security obligations related to governance, regulatory, and compliance matters were fulfilled.I also initiated and directed the development of a contemporary vulnerability management process alongside the security and IT departments, resulting in a significant reduction in vulnerabilities across bank products.

I was responsible for implementing security tools into customer infrastructure, including solutions such as WAF, DAST, and security scanners. I elevated client security and compliance by deploying advanced solutions. I enhanced project management, ensuring precise tracking. I developed training materials to increase cybersecurity awareness among clients and partners.

As a Senior Application Security Engineer, I led efforts to significantly reduce vulnerabilities and fostered a security-first culture that strengthened our security posture. I enhanced network security through improved threat detection and ensured high availability across all systems. Additionally, I worked closely with the C-suite to develop security benchmarks and provided regular updates through key performance indicators, supporting informed decision-making and continuous security improvement.

As a Technical Support Engineer focused on second-line support, I effectively resolved complex hosting-related issues, specialising in the management of hosting control panels, website publishing, server configurations, database management, and security threat mitigation.
