Contracted position operating, maintaining, and advising all hardware and software components related to the medical simulation exercises used in validating candidates for USAFSAM C-STARS Cincinnati Critical Care Air Transport Team Advanced. Responsible for creating and applying the necessary moulage required for the scenarios on to a variety of manikins. Setup and trouble shooting network connectivity difficulties between the manikins and supporting hardware & software. Simulations last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes based on the participants actions. While operating the simulated patients, we also control all the audio and video components to record the exercise allowing the students to review their actions after debriefing with their cadre counter-parts. Medical simulation tools used from Laerdal, Gaumard, CAE, VitalsBridge, Learning Space, and EMS SimulationiQ.
