Application Architect
Responsible for application development including technical requirements, high level architecture, system design and technical direction. • Transform business requirements into technical requirements by closely working with business analysts and stakeholders.• Collaborate with client and project team for defining scope, timelines and acceptance criteria.• Design application architecture by following best practices, reference architecture and IBM guidelines.• Review solutions, existing applications and architectures and provide feedback on performance, stability and security.• Evaluate newer technologies, methodologies and develop proof of concept.• Manage offshore team and provide technical guidance.• Liaison between various geographically distributed teams and ensure effective communication.• Establish coding standards and best practices based on industry practices, security, availability and scalability.• Increase productivity and engagement by mentoring team members on technologies and team work.• Engage with various peer groups, tech community, and industry leaders for understanding the changing trends and business impact for the client.• Work with various stakeholders to understand business priority, corporate road maps and aligning the team and technology accordingly. • Work with vendors, service providers for solutions, upgrades and feature implementations.• Involve in development of various solutions and software modules.• Perform testing, deploying, fixing defects and supporting users on any issues.
