I hold a Master’s degree in Forestry with a specialization in Agroforestry from Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, and a B.Sc in Forestry from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University.My interests lie in climate change mitigation, carbon offset projects, and the carbon sequestration potential of forests. I have a strong background in biomass estimation, forest monitoring, and sustainable land management. My skills extend to analyzing volumetric and allometric equations, conducting forest inventories, and assessing the regeneration potential of forests. I am also well-versed in silvicultural practices, forest mensuration, and statistical analysis.Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in various forestry projects, from plantation to monitoring. My roles at organizations like EGIF Global and Krishi Vigyan Kendra have involved contributing to projects on carbon sequestration, climate resilience, and rural livelihood improvement. I have a deep understanding of environmental legislation, sustainable development goals, and the prerequisites for long-term sustainability.I am proficient in environmental data-gathering methods, tools, and models, and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
