As the Head of Product Management, I am responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's product strategy. I lead a team of product managers and work closely with cross-functional teams such as development, data science, marketing, sales and customer success to ensure successful product development and launch across our Healthcare, Research and Wellbeing divisions.Key responsibilities: • Develop and execute a product strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals• Identify customer needs and market trends to inform product development and positioning• Lead the product management team including product design and growth • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch• Drive the ongoing management and evolution of products through the creation and update of a product roadmap• Incorporate machine learning models created by our data science team into our product offerings to increase user engagement and clinical decision support• Integrate acquired products into the core platform, maintaining our cloud-first approach

As Head of Solutions Delivery, I was responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of technical and domain experts to create and deliver digital healthcare products. This includes early-stage sales consultancy, understanding customer needs to inform product requirements, working with UI & UX designers to create usable solutions, defining requirements and managing Sprints with the wider product and development teams, managing customer implementations and analysing usage to ensure customers are getting the most from the solutions.

As a Programme Manager at Allocate Software, I was responsible for the delivery of a bespoke software solution to a key NHS customer. This involved working with internal product, development and implementation teams to co-ordinate the delivery of a bespoke solution, which utilised elements from the wider product portfolio and newly developed solutions, to the customer. As the main point of contact for both the customer and senior stakeholders within the business, I managed the inter-dependencies of the various projects to provide oversight over progress and managed any risks and issues arising with the relevant teams.

As a Product Manager at Allocate Software, I was responsible for the creation and delivery of a new solution for use within a secondary care, inpatient setting. Working with existing customers and conducting marker research, I defined requirements, managed user testing of design ideas and managed the development and delivery of the new solution into live use within the NHS.

As part of an organisation restructure coinciding with the acquisition of Aura Healthcare by the Servelec Group, I was promoted to the role of Operation Manager at Servelec Aura. As Operations Manager I maintained my responsibility as a senior project manager at Aura Healthcare, for the cost effective and timely delivery of all Note and Flow project implementations across the UK and Ireland, the most recent of which was completed in March 2016 in North Wales.In addition to my delivery responsibilities, I am currently responsible for the release management of Servelec Aura’s Note and Flow solutions. This includes working alongside our Solutions team and directly with our current and potential customers to understand end user requirements from both an application and integration perspective, with these requirements feeding our product roadmaps, enabling the balancing of specific customer and contractual requirements and product innovation to be considered in accordance to their priority. This is with the aim of ensure that our solutions continue to remain at the tip of the innovation curve in the patient flow market, as focus on this market increases in the Healthcare industry, whilst maintaining our ability to deliver our contractual obligations for the solution on schedule.

As a Senior Solutions Consultant at Aura Healthcare, I was responsible for the delivery of clinical noting and bed management products. My key responsibilities were ensuring first-of-type projects were correctly specified, resourced, delivered to budget and on time, feeding into our PMO function to improve the efficiency of our product and project delivery processes. My role also involved working directly with customers in a consultancy capacity to review current systems and processes within organisations, to generate specifications forming part of internal business cases for replacement solutions.

After successfully completing my 12 month period as a trainee, which coincided with CSC’s acquisition of iSOFT, I was promoted to the role of solutions implementation specialist position with CSC. Working with end users and I completed requirements analysis required to understand the currently established processes for the paper based systems used secondary care settings to inform the design of the replacement solutions. This allowed detailed plans for replacement workflows to be created and shared with the customer for review, ahead of the configuration and deployment of these to end users.

As a Trainee Solutions Implementation Specialist at iSOFT, I worked within the newly created Strategic Portfolio team alongside colleagues from Australia and New Zealand to enhance iSOFT’s Electronic Patient Record offering in the UK. Working with product specialists I worked with customers to deploy modular functionality to complement existing solutions and processes.

Following the successful completion of my degree, I took up a role at Bruntwood, a property estates company, as an IT Technician. I was one of two technicians responsible for the maintenance of the IT systems and hardware for 300+ users across multiple sites in England, predominantly in the North West.

As part of my Business IT degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, I completed a 12 month placement at DIT Consultancy as an IT Technician. I was responsible for the completion of the initial triage of customer IT issues to determine the action required to resolve the issue and to advise the customer on the steps that would be required to resolve their specific issues.
