Connecting Youth Policy, Practice, and ResearchWith experience in local, state, tribal, and national education, health, and justice policy, Sarah develops content for national training and technical assistance (TTA). Her focus includes strategic planning, program implementation for behavioral health, crime prevention, suicide, substance misuse prevention, public education, and juvenile justice. Her expertise includes program and project content development, planning, implementation, evaluation, and research methodologies, and guiding grantee technical assistants (GTAs) to provide consistent, high-quality TTA. Sarah collaborates with practitioners to create effective training programs and participates in federal grant reviews for several departments, contributing to the vetting of the highest qualified proposals. Her accomplishments include a U.S. Department of Justice fellowship and an education policy leadership fellowship from the Institute for Educational Leadership. Sarah has held key roles at prestigious institutions such as the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy and the Coalition for Community Schools. She has authored several publications, including Strengthening Indian Country Through Tribal Youth Programs.
