About Steve:I started off in construction at 15 years old as an apprentice Bricklayer in Liverpool, UK after completion I went on to start my own Bricklaying business. At 21 I began sub-contracting work within the Building & Construction Industry with Keith Walton Brickwork and helped build Sainsbury supermarkets over the next 5 years. I then moved to Sydney, Australia and worked on Olympic Village, Darling Harbour, CBD projects for one year.I set up my Company T&S Brickwork in 2003 and trained over 14 Bricklaying apprentices within the company over a 8 year period.My, passion is to train the next generations in all trades. I Decided on a new challenge and moved to Perth Australia in 2011 and set up Bricklaying Teams in the Northern Suburbs to meet the demands of the building boom and trained up Bricklaying Apprentices in my teams. Following on from this I got involved in the Group Training industry and became the Construction Manager for Directions Workforce Solutions.I enjoyed this challenge as i strongly believe that Training Apprentices and Trainee’s correctly is a vital part of the Building and Construction Industry.
