CurrentAs a Street Outreach Nurse, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to individuals experiencing homelessness and or addiction. My work takes me into community settings, where I build trusting relationships, assess health needs, and connect people to vital healthcare and social services.I specialize in addressing immediate health concerns, including wound care, mental health support, and substance use education, while advocating for harm reduction and trauma-informed care. Collaborating with shelters, supportive housing providers, and multidisciplinary teams, I strive to ensure that each individual receives the integrated care and resources they need to improve their overall well-being.My role allows me to act as both a healthcare provider and a trusted ally, empowering individuals to navigate complex systems and access equitable healthcare. I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those most vulnerable in our communities.
