The Pierce Institute offers test prep, subject support, and college readiness services for some of the area’s most ambitious students. With our computer programming and basic engineering offerings, students interested in STEM careers can find something extra at our center, though we are for all students. We offer one-on-one, highly personalized instruction with only experienced and certified professionals.

Helped highly-ambitious students attain admission into elite schools in one of the state’s top districts. Worked with students K-12. Had the opportunity to help some students with learning differences. Became deeply entrenched in SAT/ACT prep and college essay preparation.

Got up early, early in the Texas morning to connect with students in China during their primetime evening hours. Classes were 30 minutes each, serving a wide range of students varying in age and acquisition levels. Taught using the online platform which was highly interactive and even allowed the teacher to give frequent rewards! We worked on grammar as well as reading skills, pronunciation, rate, tone and inflection. We also talked about cultural facts in the US and China. Having lived in Beijing for a year, I had the privilege of learning about Chinese culture personally.
