The Big-C left a dark cloud over my family for many years, still lurking this very day. As a child, I idolized my grandparents. They embodied everything I wanted to be; strong, courageous, smart and invincible. At the time, I didn’t comprehend what cancer was or the strong grasp it could have on someone so pure. I tagged along to doctor appointments, diagnostic scans, and even therapy sessions for quite sometime. I saw the strongest people in my life become weakest in a matter of months. This unforgivable disease took so much but left me with a desire to help others, a desire to learn, and a desire to be challenged as an individual. These past experiences sparked my interest in Radiology. I did a deep dive into the world of Radiology & found a love for Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT. I get to improve the wellbeing and health of my patients everyday. To be a part of the gift of giving a family more time with their loved one, curing the body of this wicked disease and easing the pain in the process.They say that when you have a job that you’re truly passionate about, you’ll never work a day in your life. I have found that passion within Radiology, a field that is forever growing!
