Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance Manager•Support all Walmart Stores, Sam’s Clubs, Dot Com’s, and Puerto Rico business units by proactively identifying, mitigating and monitoring compliance risk. •Measure current level and cost of product safety for all hard-line departments (Hardware, Sporting Goods, Toys, Domestics, Electronics, House-wares, Stationary, Lawn and Garden).•Risk Analysis on product standards. •Develop and distribute detailed product Directives, Notices, and Guidance Documents to suppliers, merchants, global sourcing, and third party testing labs for adult learning on regulations and product testing. •Investigate claims, complaints, lawsuits, and consent decrees, new and amended legislative regulations on general merchandise. •Responsible for product standards, conditions of sale consisting of item commitment, item creation, test labs contacts, supplier submission, purchase order generation, compliance signing, registrations of private label product, law labels, sales restrictions, register prompts and Remedy. •Presented at Supplier, Merchant, and third party meetings on product specific and merchandise compliance. •Worked with Innovations team on conditions of sale to align compliance signing with business units. SOP’s for product restrictions and regulations.
