In April 2019, I embarked on my finance journey when given the opportunity to assist with company expenses at my current workplace. By July 2019, I secured the Finance Assistant position through dedication and hard work, despite starting with no prior experience. Reflecting on nearly 5 years, it's been an exhilarating ride.I've achieved my Level 2 Foundation Certificate with AAT through self-study and completed an apprenticeship for an Assistant Accountant. Additionally, I earned my Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, continuously developing my skills within the workplace.Over the years, I've handled various roles, with a focus on expense management and Accounts Receivable. Last year, I expanded into Payroll Processing. I play a significant role in month-end processing, including bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts and foreign bank revaluations. Given our construction industry focus, I'm well-versed in application-based invoicing and accounting for customer retentions.Looking ahead, my goals include completing my Level 4 in AAT and advancing into management accounting.
