Working as a Business Development Manager i was involved in several projects including:The Paritor Academy - Learning & Development for Professionals in Music Education & Performing Arts Management.Paritor Ensemble - Tuition management system designed for use by performing arts and music organisations.Paritor Quorum - A software solution designed to support the management and training of school governing bodies.Ensemble, the core product for Paritor is a comprehensive tuition management system designed for use by performing arts and music organisations. As the leading tool in its field, Ensemble enables tuition providers to perform all administrative and management functions in one user friendly, unified system.The idea behind Ensemble was to run successful and efficient businesses whilst being able to make well informed decisions. After much testing it was rolled out to all music services across the country, offering them a back office solution which we have continually improved and reviewed over the past decade. In 2013 the user experience of Ensemble changed drastically. We took the software out of the office and expanded it's user base to include a wider range of stakeholders in music hubs. Around this time we also began to tranform Ensemble into a front-end solution with more functionality for people to work on the move, online and from home. In early 2014 Paritor Quorum was born. A single tool that enables governor services to manage clerking, CPD and advisory functions by providing their customers with a professional service while at the same time allowing them to supply services with data.Paritors vision for the future is not only continue to refine our core product, but also to push forward with innovative technology and make it possible for everyone to be able to work and access the information they need quickly and and conveniently wherever they are.

A short term welfare to work contract (employability) providing a target driven environment - my role was to engage with local employers to help them devise and implement employment processes for recruiting appropriate, developed and skilled individuals, providing opportunities for progressing people into sustained employment. Through means of networking, employer meetings and open recruitment days I was responsible for sourcing work placements and suitable progression routes such as apprenticeships and further education. Working within a small team to develop and run employer focused job entry programs, matching individuals to sourced vacancies/progression routes. Providing information and guidance to employers on managing individuals and placements effectively.

A4e is the UK's leading Welfare to Work Company in the UK in the delivery of Flexible New Deal (FND), a central Government contract.Responsible for a caseload of 280 unemployed people in the Black Country, my role was to plan and develop action plans to help customers return to employment whilst exceeding targets of 20 people into sustainable employment each month. Working in partnership with both SME's and major UK employers i helped them devise and implement employment processes for recruiting appropriate, developed and skilled individuals who have faced difficulty in gaining employment.

SuperTouch are the UK’s largest distributor of gloves and workwear.With over 20 years experience in the safety industry, SuperTouch have built a wealth of technical know how and also offer training to customers in the use of their products to help familiarise them with current safety standards. During my time here i was responsible for driving sales performance within our office in Birmingham, working in partnership with our senior leadership team to support them in increasing performance within all elements of sales activity. This also includes recruiting the right sales people within our sales work force.

In July 2013 Sunlight Service Group was rebranded as Berendsen UK Ltd. The business as we know it today was formed following the acquisition of Sophus Berendsen in 2002, which had textile service operations under the Berendsen brand in Scandinavia, The Netherlands, Germany and Poland. These operations were combined with the existing Davis business which had very similar operations in the UK, Ireland and Germany, providing services under the Sunlight and Spring Grove brands. Both Berendsen and Davis were long-established business service companies with history dating back over a hundred years.Berendsen provides service solutions, leasing, sourcing, cleaning and maintaining textiles for industry, commerce and the NHS public sector.
