Within an Air Traffic Control Training Center, a Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) is responsible for the setup and management of multiple advanced computer software programs that are used to train new and current Air Traffic Controllers. I ended my time at ExpressJet as a Newark based First Officer (downgraded Captain) due to the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic. 14 years and 3 months were spent Cleveland based, 2 years and 8 months of which were as Captain due to timing of the economy and life choices for family. My time at ExpressJet was incredibly rewarding. I have always enjoyed.

Though my time flight instructing was relatively short compared to most, the time I did spend instructing provided the most knowledge gaining and rewarding experience to date. I was actually disappointed I didn't get to instruct longer. My hope has been to become a check airman before the end of my flying career. I sincerely do enjoy teaching.
