National Public Relations Manager
Responsible for supporting and elevating the organization’s goals and public image through local, regional and national media, online exposure, events and corporate partnerships while working in tandem with marketing and development departments. Key Accomplishments:• Branding and image management: Created a new and more organized look and concept to all marketing materials, press kit, online brand, and overall public view of organization.• Media relations: Formed relationships with national broadcasting companies, bringing CZC to a national level. Surpassed all goals for reaching donors, volunteers, and camper families. Designed, created, and placed national PSAs across the US. • Lead and launched a national advocacy campaign: Worked with advocacy agency in NYC to create groundbreaking research on grief in America. Followed up research with marketing and press fulfillment materials including online fulfillment piece to the research. Built and maintained relationships with major donors, public figures, corporations, and media in all locations including Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, and Richmond.• Created, designed, planned and promoted major fundraising events in New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA. NYC ’09 event broke income and attendance records for the organization, and exposed Comfort Zone on a national level to media and future partners and corporations.
