Vice-President (February 2018 to 2022)In 2018, I was named an officer of the company and given the title of Vice-President. In this position, I had the opportunity to take on the leadership of operations and sales/marketing in order to improve business performance. I also led the efforts to assess M&A opportunities and managed the due diligence process through to a successful partnership with a larger organization. Controller (April 2011 to Present)Hired for the role of controller, my responsibilities have gradually grown throughout my tenure with Bachelor Controls. In addition to handling the traditional accounting responsibilities of managing a multi-million-dollar budget, tax reporting, and maintaining the general ledger, my role was gradually expanded to include human resources and management team responsibilities. My human resource responsibilities included benefits selection and management, drafting and executing compensation plans, and recruiting team members for open positions. My management team responsibilities involved leading management team and strategic planning meetings, holding team members accountable to completing action items, and driving the quality program to the successful completion 4 CSIA audits.

After completing a summer internship and my final semester of graduate school, I joined the team at Ernst and Young as an audit staff member. In this role I coordinated with client contacts to obtain relevant documentation and information related to audit procedures and managed requests in a timely fashion. I performed substantive testing procedures as part of quarterly reviews and year end audits on numerous income statement and balance sheet accounts. I reconciled corporate filings with audited work papers to check for errors and misstatements to ensure accurate reporting.
