My unlikely journey:I started university as an 18-year-old English enthusiast, dreaming of a future writing for National Geographic while traveling and experiencing the world. Fortunate enough to have now done the latter, it wasn’t as a paid writer, but because of a game-changing opportunity very early in my career. An opportunity with 3M Canada in a business very foreign to me - the world of science. My first professional roles with 3M changed my career trajectory in the best way possible. Most importantly, this is where I discovered a passion for learning and realized I could succeed at anything I put my mind to.From learning a completely new discipline (food microbiology!), developing into a sales professional, fostering strong business relationships and creating programs and innovating for clients, to Government RFP project management and multi-day conference coordination, I embraced every experience. Along the way, I also uncovered a love for finding better ways to achieve goals and improve efficiency. With exceptional communication skills, well-honed analytical thinking and strategic planning experience, I thrive in dynamic environments that require adaptability and creative problem-solving. I both excel and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to an inclusive work culture. At this point in my career, I'm looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact everyday. I’m passionate about helping and contributing in a meaningful way. If your organization values innovation and social impact, I'd love to connect to uncover how my diverse experiences might propel your team to even further success!Stacey
