Tracked monthly expenses and contributed to the development of an annual budget proposal for waste collection services across County facilities each year. Provided technical assistance to staff across 20 County agencies to resolve operational issues, improve waste diversion practices, and secure participation in increased recycling efforts. Delivered presentations to over 730 County employees and residents at new employee orientations, staff meetings, and County-hosted events to promote sustainability goals and programs. Performed GHG inventory analysis to inform development of the County’s 2022 Climate Action Plan for Government Operations. Expanded recycling and compost collection across County facilities to ensure compliance with solid waste regulations. Assisted with data analysis and cross-agency meetings to help plan for compliance with SB 1383 requirements. Represented the County at meetings with StopWaste, service providers, and other jurisdictions to stay coordinated on solid waste regulations and regional updates. Supported the onboarding and training of new Climate Corps fellows each year.

San Francisco Bay Area

Worked with facility management to develop and implement a new compost program and troubleshoot recycling issues at the main campus library. Spearheaded the design and rollout of updated campus-wide bin signage, outreach materials, and web content to promote the City’s updated recycling and composting guidelines. Conducted outreach to over 580 employees and students through site assessments, campus events, and department meetings to improve sorting and waste reduction practices. Provided technical assistance to the campus community by fulfilling client orders and responding to inquiries from the program's email hotline.
