At my current position, I oversee design and general construction projects for higher education. Additionally, I work with student organizations and the Campus as I specialize in sustainability and energy management, I have managed and designed the Queens College's Intranet page on "Being Green", and developed an internal program to move the Campus into a more aggressive pattern of behavior and a varied list of sustainable programs that reflect our concern for the world we live in. I have also completed the 2014 Princeton Review Green survey, a 70 page comprehensive study of sustainable practices on campus, ranking "Green Colleges", published in August 2014, we rank 92 of the top 100 Green Colleges to be published by the Princeton Review. A brief background of my qualification's:My current responsibility is as a Level 3 Project Manager at Queens College, in the department of Campus Operations and Construction Services; my more than five years at the college and my over eight years of service with CUNY makes me a highly qualified and experienced candidate with a very diversified background with many specialties in administration, project and facility management with a financial backbone. In addition to working for CUNY, I have 20 years of experience in management, operations, finance including budgets and 10 year forecasts. I possess a high level of professionalism and efficient time and cost management skills, completing jobs on time with accurate scopes and within budget. As a Project manager my job concerns are to communicate, plan schedule, measure, monitor and report. I build teams and to me what is most important is that I have everyone’s “buy in” to accomplish our goals. I delegate to experts in their field and develop teams that make a difference. I’m a planner, constantly breaking down tasks, developing contingency plans and adjusting the team as need be. I am highly motivated, very organized, analytical and group oriented.
