Early on, I leaned into being an "analytical type"—enjoying math, data, spreadsheets, and code. I studied finance and joined Accenture's worldwide tech headquarters to use emerging database and app development tools on global projects.After earning an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, I joined the sales effectiveness practice of a specialized management consulting company. While leading field interviews and building models to visualize and quantify strategies for clients, I discovered valuable insights in an unexpected place: one-to-one conversations with customers and users.But this intuitvely made sense to me because I spent my free time studying psychology, communication, persuasion, and decision-making. As I began gathering and leveraging stories, examples, and observations in my analyses and strategies, I realized that solutions didn't need to be analytically based on quantitative data OR creatively based on qualitative insights. They needed to be both. I co-founded LOWERCASE Inc.—a strategy and design company—to bring an analytical approach to creative solutions. We've built a nimble team that embraces design thinking to build highly effective brand, communication, and digital experience strategies. By merging data with behavioral insights and building experiences informed by both, we create elegant solutions to complex problems.I enjoy working with founder-led companies and have extensive experience with pharmaceutical, medical device, medical testing, and biotech companies. As Chief Experience Officer, I develop strategies for local and global clients, including Pfizer, Levi's, Western Union, and Medtronic.
