Stacy Haroldsen Email and Phone Number

In April 2019, Stacy graduated as an English Education Composite Major at Brigham Young University of Idaho. Since that time, she has worked at Ethel Boyes Elementary as a Title One Aide and in-house substitute.Since graduating high school, Stacy has spent nine years working with students of all ages: kindergarten to sixth to twelfth to college. Primarily, she has helped students become better readers and writers, and, hopefully, better students as a whole. Over the years she has written creatively and academically. In 2011 she published a short story for Gathered Voices, a magazine published through the Museum of Idaho. In 2017, she went to the National Undergraduate Literary Conference and presented a short story and poem. In 2018, her poem received second place at BYU-I's Pre-Professional Conference. She is an avid reader, with working knowledge of young adult and children's literature. She believes these books are underrated in the reading world, and the foundation to great readers. She shares her love of reading with her current students, and hopes to continue to share that love in the future.
