As a transitional kindergarten teacher at La Fetra Elementary School in Glendora, California, my goal each year is to create for my students a developmentally appropriate environment in which they can thrive and grow. I believe that children learn best when they are motivated through play. My classroom is set up for hands-on learning and movement to promote all the domains of development.
