Integrated Product Team Lead for the Workstation Management Team, Mission Support Branch, Human Resource Command at Ft. Knox, KY. Responsible for the coordination and management of all small projects concerning every aspect of the Army baseline for 21,000 + workstations across the United States for the United States Army Recruiting Command. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Effectively applies internal methodology and enforces project standards. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures and minimize risks to the project. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately in all areas to include: Oasis (documentation repository), Serena Business Manager (configuration management tool), CaliberRM (requirements tool) and internal team documentation/processes (Project Plan, Deployment Requirements, Test Cases, MS Project schedule and Stakeholder/Functional Approval presentations. Coordinate with several stakeholders across the enterprise in communication with project milestones. Reviews developer code and conducts internal unit tests based off code prior to official project promulgation. Workstation baseline is replicate of the standard Army Gold master baseline. Responsible for updating and maintain internal documentation/processes in compliance for ISO auditing.

Provide IT Program Management (PMO) support for the National Preparedness Directorate (NPD) within FEMA. Provide management and oversight of nine divisions within the directorate. The areas of direct expertise and support include: Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) knowledge and implementation throughout all phases of the SELC; Tailoring of existing and on-going EA and Standards; IT Engineering recommendations; design reviews; IT Security support (Certification & Accreditation); Systems Integration- Establish Systems Integration Working Group, gathered and analyzed requirements data for 44 existing and future systems, develop requirements recommendations (Functional Requirements document & Business Base Analysis), monitor change requests, and assist in development of Use Case documents; Systems Hosting Migration to DHS Data Centers – Business and technical requirements gathering and analysis of 44 existing and future systems; Data Architecture and Information Sharing especially for National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) and Technical Writing experience.

Analyzed technical and business processes to support Creative Computing Solutions, inc. (CCSi) for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) contract and established the groundwork to model this analysis in System Architect (SA). Developed knowledge of Telelogic (DOORS), reviewed existing documentations and data, interviewed subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and document discrepancies in the USCG inventories. Analyzed and updated Coast Guard Products & Standards list for DHS TRM (Technical Reference Model) insertion, totaling over 900 items. Drafted and updated the ‘System Inventory’ to be imported into System Architect for the development of ‘System View’ products for the USCG. Reviewed the data to verify the mapping of the USCG inventories with the Federal Enterprise Reference Models. Researched and developed first-time Target Inventory draft for Target Architecture goals of the Coast Guard. Wrote first-time Enterprise Data Management Policy for the USCG (to be later promulgated). Researched and aligned all Coast Guard Enterprise Architecture work with FEA (Federal Enterprise Architecture).

Provided overall IT support to two Army brigades totaling 300 systems. Ensured compliance with DOD information security and network requirements. Managed three servers on a Solaris 8& 9 platform, which supported 100+ customers. Installed security patches for Solaris 8& 9 systems, installation, and configuration of Solaris 8&9 server (i.e. operating system, network setup, UNIX system patches and upgrades, system backup and recovery functions). Setup and managed user accesses, permissions, and controls for UNIX servers. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Managed upgrades and maintenance for Brigade/Support Operations Windows XP, Microsoft Server 2003, Oracle 10g, and Unix- based workstations. These systems supported applications such as Standard Army Management System-Enhanced (SAMSE), Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), Property Book User Systems-Enhanced (PBUSE), Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization (SAAS MOD), and Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4), covering all nine classes of Army supply. Responsible for designing, programming, implementing, and training end users on data management systems to streamline logistics analysis and logistics/maintenance reporting, utilizing the Microsoft Office platform to include Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Automate day-to-day desktop tasks in a Windows/Office environment. Network Administrator for the tactical wireless LAN known as the CAISI (Combat Service Support Automated Management Information Systems), which consisted of Fortress switches, routers, modems, and radios.
