    -Serve as resource for 5 departments for all wage and staff human resource processes, procedures, policies and requirements. -Maintain working knowledge of administrative requirements of searches for staff, as well as wage searches and hiring procedures. -Complete the hiring process for all wage and staff employees and oversee onboarding for new staff employees. -Submit temporary, staff and wage order requests via Jobs@UVa and confer funding and justification with the HR Director. -Coordinate staff position classification and market matching to include drafting position descriptions, assessing qualification requirements, essential job duties, and physical conditions of employment. -Initiate all wage and staff actions in Jobs@UVa, working with the HR Director. -In conjunction with the HR Director, work with supervisors to plan and complete compensation-related actions, including starting salaries, salary adjustments, and bonuses. -Verify that all new staff hires have been correctly interfaced from Jobs@UVa to Oracle. Maintain staff changes in Oracle as needed and within payroll deadlines. -Oversee the position control and HR/payroll processes for all staff employees (i.e., leaves, change in hours, etc.). -Serve as backup to FACULTY/PRS HR Coordinator and other team members when volume is high or colleagues are on leave. -I-9 Specialist -Member of Charlottesville SHRM
