I started off at John E. Green in 2007 as Assistant to Project Management for Fire Protection. Under that position I opened and closed jobs, assembled operation and maintenance manuals, obtained permits, priced time and material extra work forms, processed change orders/subcontracts, maintained various excel sheets, and supported the staff with any clerical tasks. In 2012 I transitioned over to Estimating Assistant. Under the position I assembled bid information for estimates which included; downloading/printing documents, obtained bid bonds and prepared bid proposals for distribution to General Contractors via email or if required hand delivered. I also maintained the distribution list for the subs/vendors and made sure they had all the necessary documents to provide pricing on bid day. During my time at John E. Green Company I had also helped out various other departments if needed and I had the time available. I had answered the front desk phone system, handled sending out postal mail and UPS, assisted the Safety Department in putting together a PowerPoint presentation and assisted Accounting in data entry among other various tasks for the company.
